End-to-End Revenue Budgeting Solution

Designing and implementing an integrated in-house revenue budgeting solution

Developed the concept and functional design for an in-house revenue budgeting solution, connecting financial planning, business data and reporting across multiple platforms.

​

The solution enabled budget owners to enter and submit their revenue plans through structured Excel templates, which were integrated into a centralised data and reporting environment.

​

Led the functional development and coordinated technical requirements with SAP developers for SAP BW cubes and logic, as well as the setup of SQL view access in SAP S/4HANA. Personally planned and implemented the Power BI datasets and reporting, SharePoint environment and Power Automate workflows in collaboration with the team.

Commercial & Finance Planning Integration

Integrating Commercial and Finance Planning into one organisation

Advocated for the integration of the Commercial and Finance planning teams into one consolidated planning organisation, recognising opportunities to improve collaboration, alignment and efficiency.

Following the decision to merge the teams, assumed hierarchical responsibility for the Commercial Planning team, bringing both planning functions together under one organisational structure.

​

Together with the Finance Manager, led the restructuring of team responsibilities, processes and ways of working to establish a more integrated approach to financial planning and reporting.

Revenue Reporting Process Transformation

From manual Excel-based reporting to structured SAP BW reporting.

The existing revenue data was already sourced from SAP but did not provide the expected figures or meet the reporting requirements. To address this, the underlying dataset was analysed in collaboration with the Accounting, Revenue Recognition and technical teams to gain a better understanding of the data, business logic and reporting requirements.

​

This analysis helped identify the root causes of the discrepancies and enabled the manual Excel-based reporting process to be improved. Based on the findings, the reporting solution was gradually rebuilt in SAP BW in close collaboration with the relevant teams.

​

The work also involved reviewing and adjusting certain accounting and revenue recognition processes to ensure that the required information was correctly reflected in the revenue reports.

​

Reduced the revenue reporting preparation cycle from approximately two weeks to 1–2 days.
